Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ClearReport Health Private Limited ("ClearReport", "we", "our", or "us") governing your use of the ClearReport iOS application ("App") and related services ("Service").

By downloading, installing, or using ClearReport, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The Service

ClearReport is an AI-powered iOS application that analyses medical reports and provides plain English explanations to help users better understand their health information and prepare for conversations with their healthcare providers.

ClearReport is an educational tool only. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, clinical decision support system, or substitute for professional medical advice. Please read our Medical Disclaimer for full details.

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude AI model to process and explain medical reports. AI-generated explanations may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific medical situation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use ClearReport. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

ClearReport is currently available in India and select international markets through the Apple App Store. We reserve the right to restrict availability in certain regions.

Account & Access

ClearReport does not require you to create an account to use the free tier of the Service. Your scan history is stored locally on your device and is not linked to any account.

For Pro subscriptions, your subscription is linked to your Apple ID through the App Store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.

Subscriptions & Billing

Pro subscription plans

ClearReport offers the following Pro subscription plans:

• Pro Monthly: ₹399 per month, billed monthly
• Pro Yearly: ₹2,999 per year, billed annually (equivalent to ₹250/month)

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.

Free trial

New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

Billing and payment

All subscription billing is processed by Apple through the App Store. ClearReport does not directly handle your payment information. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → ClearReport. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period and Apple will notify you before any price change takes effect on your renewal.

Free Tier

The free tier of ClearReport provides 3 report scans per calendar month at no charge, with no account or credit card required. Free tier scans reset on the first day of each calendar month. Unused free scans do not carry over to the following month.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use ClearReport only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scan documents that do not belong to you without authorisation
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the Service to generate, distribute, or publish medical misinformation
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or scan limits
• Use automated tools or scripts to access the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your use of the Service
• Rely on ClearReport explanations as a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment

Intellectual Property

ClearReport and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ClearReport Health Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The ClearReport name, logo, and brand are trademarks of ClearReport Health Private Limited.

The AI-generated explanations produced by the Service are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise these explanations without our written permission.

You retain full ownership of any medical reports you submit to the Service. By submitting a report, you grant ClearReport a temporary, limited licence to process the report solely for the purpose of generating your explanation. This licence ends immediately after the explanation is delivered to your device.

Disclaimers

ClearReport is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated explanations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific medical situation.

AI technology has limitations. Explanations generated by ClearReport may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Medical knowledge evolves rapidly and AI models may not reflect the most current medical guidelines or research.

ClearReport does not provide medical advice. The explanations provided by the App are for general educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClearReport Health Private Limited and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service exceed the amount you paid to ClearReport in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ClearReport at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Locally stored data on your device is not affected by termination of access.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
